Here at FitStar HQ, we love adding focused sweat sessions to complement our total-body workouts. Some days we give a little extra time (10 minutes, to be exact) to our abs, and other days are (legendary) Leg Days. Today we’re announcing our sweet new Freestyle sessions for FitStar Personal Trainer and FitStar Yoga – and these workouts are shoulders above the rest, literally. FitStars tackling their fitness with Tony G. will love Shoulder Strong, the latest Freestyle session in FitStar Personal Trainer. This workout will shape and strengthen your shoulders with a targeted session that’s less than 20 minutes. Warm up with plank to downward dog and inchworm planks, then crank up that heart rate with some pike presses. What’s that? You want to feel a bigger burn? You got it: the one-legged pike presses into dive bombers into offset pike presses will really work your shoulder, arm, and back muscles. Push yourself with incline shoulder presses and back planks, then loosen up those arms with air jump rope. This is a fast and intense workout that will strengthen your upper body while getting your legs, cardio, and core going. You’ll feel like you can carry the weight of the world after mastering Shoulder Strong, now available in FitStar Personal Trainer.
Looking to soften and strengthen your shoulders simultaneously? Head over to FitStar Yoga, and enjoy our brand new Freestyle session, Shoulder Shake. This standing series isn’t all about your upper body, either – put your balance to the test to complete and master this series. Of course there’s some down dog, seated twists, and seated pigeon to get things started. Then stand tall and strong with the warrior series before finding your balance and your core with twisting moon. Finish off the 30-minute session with a supine sequence, and allow yourself to feel a deep stretch. Shoulder Shake is a perfect workout to kick-start your day, or whenever you need a boost to feel powerful and poised.
